Warbaby, the Wollongong based instrumental music project of artist Dylan Rodgers, is harbouring Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Khruangbin-esque sensibilities. “I attempted to combine 70’s afrobeat elements with a romantic 50’s sound as heard on a lot of Santo and Johnny records” says Dylan. “The song then spirals into an extended outro where I combine the same disco feel with some red hot spaghetti western style guitars.”

The band brings together Spaghetti Western textures and 70's Afro rhythms to create a unique sound that takes listeners on a stunning audiovisual journey. Performing songs from his debut album Stereo Rodeo with a 5 piece band, Warbaby delivers a show that's as bold as it is memorable. With cinematic arrangements, driving grooves, and a fresh take on cross-genre storytelling.
