The “Friends” aspect of the project brings together an array of local collaborators, including vocal contributions from Paris Rebel Richens, Violetta Del Conte-Race, Miles Jansen, Carolyn Hawkins, Sam Hill \u0026amp; Rowena Lloyd. Instrumentally, there’s a chunk of additions from long-time collaborator Mitch Campleman, alongside Jake Robertson, Zak Olsen, Nick Van Bakel, Alannah Sawyer, Zane Gardner, Jamie Harmer, Austin Haire \u0026amp; Jack Crook.\u003cbr\u003eThe result is a multi-instrumental symphony of collected sounds that often drift through experimental soundscapes, while having one foot remain firmly rooted in the soil of Billy’s long-standing rock n roll sensibilities.
